I am definitely impressed at what the FreeBSD ecosystem has to offer! The last time I used FreBSD daily was when the version was less than two digits long…. Unfortunately, I need sound to function due to music and occasionally zoom/teams meetings. That was the only hitch, everything else felt solid and professional. I’ll keep checking back because the fact that 99% of my software suite worked and easily accepted my configurations was beyond amazing.

Does anyone else have recommendations for a desktop BSD experience where sound just “works”?

This guy’s mission is to give LLMs access to every little corner of the Internet. So there is nowhere to go to avoid them. Why?

I have been exploring the Gemini space for the last few days : pretty cool !

Just people sharing their thoughts and hobbies.
It feels much more peaceful than the web (of course due to the scale).
And can be browsed from the comfort of emacs (elpher for the win :) )

I recommend taking a bit of time to explore :)

You use the network by noting all sites you might want to read often in an RSS reader. This defines a network which is personally yours.

The Patreon roadmap includes discovery algorithm updates, platform and security improvements, and new features for both creators and fans.”

Considering swapping out the traditional #Textual header widget for an application command-oriented toolbar. #Rogallo is very keyboard-first/friendly, but sometimes it's tricker to use if you're more into your mouse. This will help.
