Jon Ronson released a podcast on BBC Radio 4 in 2022 called Things Fell Apart, which I'm finding very insightful, if occasionally disturbing.
This episode though, focusing on a post-Pizzagate story, hasn't aged quite so well;

It kind of treats the story of an elite pedophile ring as a QAnon trope; silly and obviously wrong. But the release of the Epstein files very much substantiates that story.

@dajbelshaw nobody has to justify themselves to anyone else, ever. Totally agree that the ideology of the internet as a permanent kangaroo court -where everyone is on trial and everyone else is judge, jury, and executioner - is a cancer. #JonRonson did a really good #TEDTalk about how destructive this #PublicShaming culture can be:
