I just finished my second #jdorama starring Yagira Yuya #sinsofkujo. It’s good. 8/10

I finished the #jdorama #silenttruth and found it well done with an interesting twist or two. Despite the subject matter it was “light” as jdoramas go.
#sinsofkujo is very, very different and I’m taking it slow. Yagira Yuya is one of my fave Japanese actors ever since I saw him in #lightofmylion

I finished both #jdorama ‘s I was watching #learningtolove and #firstlove and I’m giving both 10/10.

I don’t know how to use spoiler tags here but I have a question and hope I’m not spoiling anything.

I’m watching #jdorama #learningtolove and wondering what the plant is the FL mother keeps nibbling on.

At some point over the weekend I read a post where someone recommended the #jdorama #learningtolove and I want to thank them so much.

I intended to finish #glassheart but I felt rushing through them would lessen its impact. I have one more episode to go

The young woman doing the actual singing in #glassheart is really good. I think she’s a sixteen year old. #jdorama

The #jdorama #glassheart is pretty good. You just have to get past some nonsensical scenes in the first episode. They were stupid enough to almost make me skip it. Musicians will know what I mean 😉

I started #deadorlove on Netflix. #jdorama

I think it depends on the story. I’ve seen #jdorama’s that I wish had been a bit longer and #cdramas that I won’t start because they’re 50 episodes or more. #kdramas are good from 10 - 35/6 or so if the story requires it.

I watched the first two episodes of #loveofdivinetree and was annoyed that the third episode wasn’t available to me yet. That said I cannot add another #cdrama #kdrama or #jdorama to my watch list.

Some of you may remember our questions for non-serious awards that we created after 2024's Drama Challenge.

The suggestion was to do a challenge for the Lunar New Year.

Since we have a few newbies joining us in the Fediverse, I thought I'd let them know & remind people that we'll start at the Lunar New Year. It'll only be a little over 2 weeks of questions, so the list will have to be narrowed down a bit - but we can rotate questions next year.

The #jdorama #asura is 7 episodes in total. There are time jumps that can throw you a bit but it doesn’t take a lot of effort to understand what has happened. Yes it’s a family drama but it’s also time capsule. Great acting, great portrayal of interior and external space as well as living spaces. I have two more episodes to go.

Bei mir Gänsehaut auf Gänsehaut für die kompletten zwei Minuten.

Adding J- prefix to Japanese pop culture is not a new thing, we already have endearing terms like

- #JAV (Japanese Audio Visual collective)
- #Jdorama (Japanese TV drama)
- #Jmetal (Japanese metal music)
I would definitely welcome Kamiya calling his games J-Action.
