After coming home from today's outing (to the De Young museum and the Japanese tea gardens), I wanted to draw more of today's #inkyDays pattern. I did some small ones, and then also started a large one, on watercolor paper.

Trying a slightly different color combination in today's #inkyDays drawing. I think I like the sepia ink in yesterdays drawing better than this dark blue, for the edges. But it was worth playing with.

I liked today's #inkyDays drawing so much that I decided to get started on a larger version, with the same inks, on watercolor paper. So far, so good.

I love how the colors turned out in this piece, and I keep coming back to it when I need a little boost of joy and attitude. I created it with code, and the text string "f*ck cancer", shortly before going in for cancer surgery.
I'm doing so much better now. It's an amazing feeling.
