Mit der Auswahl eines Dienstes, bestimmt ihr nur für euch allein, wie dieses Netzwerk aussieht und was du machen kannst. Das kann für deinen Kontakt ganz anders sein.
Allein für Kurznachrichten bietet das Fediverse mehr als zweiHändevoll Dienste an, die sich in Aussehen, Funktionen und Möglichkeiten gravierend unterscheiden.
Daher, überlegt vorher, was ihr braucht und wie der Dienst aussehen soll.

It was one of the first apps I downloaded on my first smartphone. It was fun seeing pictures and getting to know people around the world.
So fuck meta and facebook for destroying that. After 15 years I deleted my Instagram profile.

OK, the new release now contains OpenAI API integration to automatically generate Image Descriptions for the uploaded images.

with support from @dansup I found to right API calls for Pixelfed.
*ATTENTION*: Use at your own risk as this would obviously upload your images to OpenAI 🤷♂️
If no config for `openai_api_key` is provided, then the program will work without the OpenAI part.

If you have just downloaded your #Instagram archive and want to post your old images to your new #Pixelfed account ... maybe this little helper comes in handy: https://repos.mxhdr.net/maxheadroom/insta-import-pixelfed
This will take a directory as parameter and upload the found images in batches as new Pixelfed posts. The batch size is configurable and the title of the postings as well.
