  1. #Inkscape's "optimized SVG" output might still have matrix translation parameters in it. If you want a really clean #SVG you need to select everything, Ctrl-X to cut it, then choose the "paste in place" option in the edit menu. It will remove layers and probably all kinds of metadata. But if you export your file again, all the matrix transforms and groups are now baked into actual coordinates.
