Size: 72" x 88"This one's a wedding gift for a nibling who got engaged over the December holidays -- it's the first time I've gotten a wedding quilt done before the Save the Date card even arrived 😂

Added the final touch on this puppy-inspired wedding quilt for my engaged nibling — a dog collar “tag”
Hope to quilt this in June; the wedding deadline is approaching but I’ve got a couple more tops to finish before I break out the longarm

Really thought I needed that red heart in the lower right, was going to add a silver circle in the hopes it looked like a dog collar/tag. But now I’m iffy on it 🤔

Came close to finishing all 30 blocks today but then I realized some of the black fabrics were out of order and THEN I lost bobbin chicken fixing them, so now I’m packing it in for the night before something else goes wrong 😑

I’m a bit concerned about the color choices for my new quilt — I’m hoping they’ll read as dog fur colors given the backing fabric (second pic) but they’re a bit less bright than my usual. Thinking of adding a touch of red, like a collar? All still quite unsure at this point
