  1. Should be an IgNobel Prize winner. :-)

"In a test of the device, healthy college-age volunteers who wore sensors farted an average of 32 times a day. But that figure varied from a minimum of four flatus daily to a maximum of 59. Eating high fiber gumdrops caused 36 of 38 participants to break wind more often, the researchers found."

  5. Meet the winners of the 2024 #IgNobel Prizes

The #IgNobelPrizes honor "achievements that first make people laugh and then make them think."

Curiosity is the driving force behind all #science, which may explain why so many scientists sometimes find themselves going in some decidedly #eccentric research directions.

Cost of party balloons about to sky-rocket?

Wouldn't it be cheaper to fly patients to the Moon and back to be medically scanned there than bring the 3He down here? LOL

Surely this insanely speculative BS is up for an #IgNobel prize?!
