📢 IASSIST is seeking proposals to provide monetary sponsorships of regional or local programs and events during calendar year 2026.
Events asking for sponsorship should gather data professionals from multiple institutions and may vary in size and scope with preference given to events from underrepresented #IASSIST membership areas.
Proposals are due on April 3rd, 2026. Notification will be given by April 15th. Sponsorship requests may range up to $1,000 USD.

🛟 IASSIST members, along with members from many organisations like RDAP and the Data Curation Network, recently initiated the Data Rescue Project (DRP) to coordinate efforts in preserving USA federal data that was disappearing and at risk of being lost.
🛟 Data have already been rescued from various agencies. The project has compiled an overview of ongoing efforts and helpful resources intended to aid in the data rescue process.
