I'm renting a flat. #Hyperoptic says that they are operating in the area but for this property they need a permission from the property manager or owner for installation. Does that mean I need to seek permission from every landlord in the building or just my landlady?

Hyperoptic don't know what the word "static" means 😭
They think it means your ipv4 address is not taking part in CG-NAT, and beyond that, it's actually okay if the specific address changes periodically.As far as I can tell, it's not actually possible to get a static IPv4 address using hyperoptic.
I should look into manchester based data centres offering co-location.

We have a new fibre internet installed. It was done fairly seamlessly.

I may write a client library to automate/replace clicking around the web UI of the router my ISP provided (Nokia HA-140W-B). I'll check for existing implementations first, or frameworks I can adapt #HyperOptic #Python

Does anyone have experience with Hyperoptic please? Looking at their 1gb fibre internet in the marina for the narrowboat, but their pre-sales 'support' is shockingly bad so far 🙄
