#Peru has opened a criminal investigation against an Israeli national accused of participating in the genocide in Gaza during the 2023-2024 Israeli war on Gaza. Israeli forces brutally killed two elderly Palestinians after using them as human shields during an invasion of Gaza City’s southern Al-Zaytoun neighbourhood last May, Euro-Med Monitor field investigations have revealed.
The victims of the crime were identified by the Euro-Med Monitor field and legal teams as married couple Mohammed Fahmi Abu Hussein (70) and Mazyona Hassan Fares Abu Hussein (65).
An investigation by the Israeli website “HaMakom” has revealed that an Israeli officer from the Nahal Brigade tied a chain of explosives around the neck of a 70-year-old Palestinian man and made him go inside houses in the Al-Zaytoun neighbourhood to inspect them and make sure they were safe for eight hours. According to the website, he and his wife were shot by Israeli army forces after they finished the mission.

The Hind Rajab Foundation: Rabbi Zarbiv's Crimes in #Gaza: The #HRF filed a complaint with the #ICC demanding the arrest of Rabbi Avraham Zarbiv for war crimes & crimes against humanity in Gaza. Zarbiv admitted to destroying homes, targeting civilians, and obliterating entire neighborhoods like #Jabalia & #Rafah.
Rabbi Zarbiv's crimes are well-documented through his own public admissions and video #evidence. On January 22, 2025, Zarbiv appeared in a televised interview where he openly admitted to:
- Destroying 50 buildings per week in Gaza, targeting private homes, schools, hospitals, and aid facilities.
- Participating in the complete destruction of entire neighborhoods, such as Jabalia, Rafah, and other towns.
- Publicly inciting violence and hatred, including endorsing the killing of Palestinian civilians and the obliteration of their communities.
- In the interview, Zarbiv boasted about "playing" on a D9 bulldozer, describing the deliberate demolition of homes and the obliteration of Gaza’s infrastructure. He confirmed the Givati Brigade's systematic targeting of civilian areas and its role in rendering entire towns uninhabitable.
- Additionally, video evidence dated February 7, 2024, shows Zarbiv and his team throwing hand grenades and firing at unarmed Palestinian civilians in Khan Yunis.These acts constitute clear violations of international humanitarian law.

Major General Ghassan Alian, Head of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), is currently in Rome, Italy. The Hind Rajab Foundation ( #HRF) has filed cases with the International Criminal Court ( #ICC) and Italian authorities, urging his immediate arrest for 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬. Alian, who publicly referred to Palestinians in Gaza as "human animals," has no immunity from prosecution.Time is of the essence to ensure accountability for his actions.
As head of COGAT since April 2021, Alian has overseen the administration of the West Bank and the long-standing blockade of Gaza. Following October 7, 2023, he supervised and enforced a total siege on Gaza, cutting off essential resources such as food, water, electricity, and medical supplies. COGAT is an arm of the Israeli Defense Ministry responsible for implementing government policies in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. I tested two algorithm-based #training services for #runners (#TrainAsOne and #RunningCoach) over the last two months.
Both of them were disappointing, because they failed to synchronize data (each one in their own way).
As I have to get serious now for the planned #halfmarathon at the end of May, I switched back to a manual plan that adjusts based on test runs and #HRF.
