this is hard to watch...
I loved Homeworld. We played it so much in multiplayer. It was the first real space-space strategy game with all 3 dimensions being relevant.
Maybe I should finally get it and see for myself.... -

I was curious about how the new Motherships from Homeworld 3 compared to the ones from the first two games. I extracted the 3D models and texture maps and rendered out this comparison (along with the ancient ship Sajuuk, whose technology was adapted into the new Motherships).
I thought the new ships seemed small, so I also made a version matching the size of the hyperspace module of the new ones to the one on Sajuuk, which makes them 1.6 times longer. #HomeWorld #HomeWorld3

Homeworld 3 costs $60+, can only be played on Windows, and the campaign took under 10 hours to complete.
I'm not usually one to complain or speak up negatively on games or the studios behind them, but what were they thinking? I'm so disappointed with what I purchased. #Homeworld3 #gaming #review

Just finished it.
I guess it was short, but I didn't find it easy like some reviews suggested, and the story wasn't atrocious.
The gameplay brought back all the old #Homeworld nostalgia too, while being fun, visually stunning, and having an incredible score. The stylised Adagio for Strings throughout was just lovely.
Now for the rogue-like mode.
