For as long as I can remember, we’ve sent some sort of holiday card to our family and closest friends. Over the years it’s been store-bought cards, then for a while I was custom printing my own cards, but most-recently the professionally printed ones just can’t be beat.

The hardest part is always—of course—getting a photo the two of us can accept. Anyway.

Getting ready to print the mailing labels for my holiday cards and yet again I am sadly deleting a number of names from my list. At one time nearly half my list was people I knew primarily from Twitter; but now there's just a scattered few who remain: the rest have fallen away with time and cards returned as "unable to deliver."

And it's probably also that I'm in a transitional phase in my life right now. So that feels weird.
