  1. My updated #hex24 #hexcrawl24 map (I don't know what to tag this as people are using both). Red numbers are hex coordinates that have something prepared in them. Blue numbers are for when it's in my notebook, they are pages. The green border is the "official" limit of the campaign so technically I don't have to go outside that but might.

I printed this out from #hexkit using my own hex tiles which I designed to allow printing and whoa it actually works.

  5. Also I printed out my overall #hex24 map - I've already laid out the terrain types for it for my campaign. Red numbers are the hex keys that I've done or at least vaguely said what's there in. (Done in #hexkit btw.) This is folded up and in the pocket in the back of my notebook.

  9. Preparing #MythicBastionland, using #HexKit - this is the player map. Next, I'll be adding the stuff they don't know about at the start of the game #ttrpg

  10. I was playing around with the idea of making planetary maps for my #dungeon23 #sector23 project at the moment, and realised that while Worldographer does this automatically, #HexKit doesn't. So I made a template for doing this in Hex Kit. daisychase.net/blog/2023/10/08

  14. Using Hex Kit more has made me appreciate pointy top hexes.

Here's a demo map I made for Tuesday's upcoming Skeleton Code Machine post.

  17. @wyrmisis @yohtzee I’m relieved! 😅
I have a long-standing project to create a library of hexes for #HexKit, and it’s ground to a halt because I want the perfect “JSON color token file + Photoshop export cut-up into PNGs → auto-colorized” pipeline… Should I have just drawn a whole bunch of hexes first?! Sure! But what if I arrange the layers in such a way that they don’t work with the workflow I’ll eventually come up with?! The horror!!! … and so it’s been 2 years.

  18. That's done using by the way
