Playing another session of our nimble game. Started becoming friends with the rat men. They want us to rescue some of their folk who have been taken as slaves by an Ork raid. We’ll see how dangerous it looks. One of their scouts is taking us.

Fought some wolves, exploring further inland than we’ve ever been before. Taking a detour around a marsh.

Liking this game so far.

I wonder, does anyone run a fantasy #TTRPG campaign based on trade?

As in, you travel a fantasy world (possibly using #HexCrawl or #PointCrawl rules or similar), going from town to town as a merchant, trying to make money that way? There could still be the ordinary random encounters as in any fantasy #TTRPG, etc. But the focus of the game is finding and exploiting profitable trade routes. Sort of like the old space game Elite, but in a fantasy world instead of in space.
