Not our biggest ever, but a sizeable beast all the same. 340 songs for your weekend listening pleasure.
"Earache My Eye" -Alice Bowie
Another song I would hear on my little transistor radio when listening to Top 40 radio in 1974.

I was never really a Metal fan as a teen, but I did like the Ramones. I just re-listened to "Rock and Roll High School"’ and immediately got zits.

What the world really needs right now is A Spinal Tap! To eleven, man!
Imagine if Led Zeppelin and Elvis got trapped in a TGI Friday’s in 1992 and decided to start a reggae band. That’s Dread Zeppelin. That’s what we did before the internet, kids!

One more for the #HeavyMetalHardRock theme. I've mentioned God Of The Dead from the Hades OST before, but I just have to list it again. Darren Korb is such a good composer. If you're impatient, just start it at 03:37. Trust me. 😁
3 Songs for this week's #JukeboxFridayNight , in descending order of average RMS level, as all things should be:
The Darkness - "Nothin's Gonna Stop Us"

Fiona - "You Better Wait"

Prince - "Bambi"

My favorite Priest song. If I had a dollar for every time I hit rewind/replay on this song so I could enjoy it harder, I'd be set.
For #JukeboxFridayNight, here's a great cover of War Pigs from the most excellent Faith No More.

"Edge of a broken heart" - Vixen
Janet, Jan, Roxy, and Share. Basically the only women in heavy rock in the late 1980s, the genre's glam rock revival phase.
Two big hit albums, then they all split for "musical differences". This song is co-written by drippy Richard Marx and taken from the 1988 album "Vixen".

I'm sure I could spend even more time scrolling through my favourites, but I suppose I have to sign off sometime.
Not sure what this song is about. Fizgig can mean "a silly or flirtatious young woman" or "a small firework". I'm guessing the first definition is most accurate here, but I tend to picture the tiny fluffy dog thing from The Dark Crystal …

Well, this seems like a fitting song to sign off tonight with. Definitely looking forward to this week's playlist!
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Finished with my woman
'Cause she couldn't help me with my mind
People think I'm insane
Because I am frowning all the time
All day long I think of things
But nothing seems to satisfy
Think I'll lose my mind
If I don't find something to pacify
I always rather liked this one, and it annoys me so much that "The Unforgiven II" starts with the same tone and gets my hopes up that it'll be this one! Sigh.
Metallica "The Unforgiven"
Candlebox are "alternative rock" and didn't often delve into the harder stuff, but this one dances the line …
Candlebox "Arrow"
This one takes me back to the days of listening to the radio and ringing in to make song requests … what a time, eh?
Skunk Anansie "I Can Dream"
