Grades are a 1-pixel approximation to a large, complex picture.

I think a lot about grades and assessment, and in general I can't tolerate the "traditional" points-based grading systems.

But even worse than that: for each student, I answer the question "how well did this student learn?" with one of about 14 values.

But there are essentially infinitely many answers to that question -- and one that also says something about *what* they learned, and how their beliefs and attitudes and perspectives change.

As a math-y, computer-science-y person, I think the image resizing is an interesting metaphor to describe what I do for (to?) every student.

La gran pregunta es: ¿Por donde empiezo? Porque he visto que hay un montón distintos y yo me pierdo.

Normal, normal. Hay muchas clasificaciones y es muy normal confundirse al menos de primeras.

Así que voy a intentar explicar así grosso modo las diferentes líneas de gunplas que hay.

Antes de responder a la pregunta de 'por donde empiezo' toca hacer reflexión y preguntarse 'cuanta experiencia tengo haciendo maquetas?'

Porque, si, molaría mucho comprarte el Gunpla más chulo y complejo pero si no has hecho nunca uno lo más probable es que antes de llegar al paso 10 te frustres por no ver avance y lo dejes.

Y esto lo digo desde el cariño, a mi me encantan estos bichos, pero no he construido ninguno de los más complejos... tal vez algún día...

En fin, que me despisto:

- Hay una especie de clasificación por escala (cuan grande es la maqueta respecto a su referente 'real') y por complejidad. Así a lo gordo os menciono:

- SD, Super Deformed para los amigos.
- HG, que quiere decir High Grade
- MG, de Master Grade
- RG, que viene siendo Real Grade
- PG, de los Perfect Grade

Ahora explico que es cada una de ellas con más detalle. Y además hay OTRAS lineas que me reservo para explicar al final como los Advanced Grade o los Entry Grade.
