  1. I was looking for something entirely different, but the internet figured I needed to see this.

    ‘It’s tinned fish time!’ 🐟

Four words I never expected to see in that order.

  2. Is it just me and my neurodiverse brain, or does everyone notice minutiae like this – and then feel compelled to blog about it?

What sorcery is this? 🪄 I often catch myself typing 'anough' for 'enough'. It's also closer to how I pronounce it. I may adopt this spelling out of spite. Does this happen in other languages?

  3. Of course, everyone knows that the word "Ghoti" is actually pronounced /fɪʃ/ just like "Fish"...

  5. @ShadowJonathan Yeah, I am curious how this applies to Korean, which is space-separated but has no uppercase letters.

Perhaps it is the case that, while they are nonsense when displayed, it is good enough when spoken. I believe each Korean letters are independently pronounceable (unlike English #ghoti) - I wonder if there are languages that aren't, and don't have capital letters?
