Frage zur Gantt-Funktion von Nextcloud 34:

In der üblichen Weise kann nun "abhängig von" definiert werden, also z. B. der Beginn von "Dachkonstruktion" ist abhängig von dem Ende "Außenwand".

Bei Gantt-Diagrammen verschiebt sich dann der Balken für die Dachkonstruktion, wenn Außenwand länger benötigt. Das wird aber nicht bei dem Nextcloud-Diagramm abgebildet.

Irgendeine Idee? Die Doku hat den Punkt noch nicht drin.

Als @rstockm in der aktuellen @freakshow angefangen hat über #Gantt Charts zu reden hab ich gedacht er erzählt jetzt gleich von meiner besten Entdeckung dazu in letzter Zeit: Gantt Charts von AI erzeugen lassen. Es gibt mit #mermaid eine Möglichkeit Gantt Charts textlich zu beschreiben. Mit Text können LLMs ganz gut. Man kann dem LLM also beschreiben wie lange welche Tasks brauchen, wann sie spätestens starten sollen oder unbedingt enden sollen und ein LLM erstellt das entsprechende Chart.

Just deployed @vikunja into productions after having tried a dozen other project 'management' tools... I haven't had this much _fun_ & ease organizing tasks since I discovered Asana over a decade ago. And I've tried OpenProj, Trello, Taiga, Basecamp, Leantime, Reminders.app, etc.

Vikunja, after an two hours of use, has:
- Really good keyboard integration
- No AI junk getting in my way
- #GANTT CHARTS - why does every other app think that died in the 90s, and/or that Kanban is the only way??? (It also does Kanban)
- SUPER fast and low-latency UI
- self-hosted, works air-gapped/offline
- #SQLite DB backed, because why would a glorified to-do list app need any more than that!?
- #Linux binary is running in Linux Compatibility on #FreeBSD, since building it natively seems impossible (can't build pnpm without pnpm)

A few things it could improve:
- configuration via YAML... many of those parameters could be in the DB, and managed via the GUI (ie: mail server, user registrations, etc)
- user management & administration
- endorse or disavow the 3rd party IOS app

Selon @NuclearSquid, les profs de gestion de projet de Polytech Grenoble enseignent qu’en méthode #Agile, il faut faire un diagramme de #Gantt pour démarrer le projet.

Je suis le seul à trouver ça fractalement con ?
Ou alors, il y a quelque chose que je n’ai pas du tout compris dans la démarche Agile ?

Was looking for an Open Source #project planning and #gantt chart drawing tool. Those Java projects crashed and/or are very ugly. Really considered buying Omni Plan (200$). Turns out, #Gnome #Planner works as well. Nice and slick. I like it.

Went searching to create a #gantt chart:

- Never found that type of view on Click up dot com (I'm sure it's there somewhere)
- Added a bunch of tasks in Monday dot com but they didn’t show up on the #ganttchart 🤨

- Opened up #aeontimeline ( https://www.aeontimeline.com ) on my Mac and 😲 Wow it does everything I wanted!

BTW this has interesting integrations with #scrivener & #ulysses for #authors & #worldbuilding
