My very, very belated #FullMoonArt this month is a simple crochet witch hat. It was technically very easy, just increase by 2 each round until it fits. But the stitches have to be made super tight to keep it stiff, so I needed to take lots of breaks for my poor wrist.
Here's the free pattern I used for reference: https://www.deliacreates.com/single-crochet-witch-hat-free-pattern-tutorial/

#FullMoonArt this month is another faire isle knit altar cloth for the season. I have dedicated this one to Hekate, as I plan to do a rite with Her on the equinox.

My #FullMoonArt for this Aquarius Moon is a cute little cross stitch of the World Tree and the 9 worlds of Norse Mythology.

My #FullMoonArt is just a little late this month due to home renovations.
This is a scrap yarn altar cloth that I knit for Lughnasadh, which I designed myself. It's the season where I traditionally honor Ingvi-Freyr. As a sun god, it makes sense to worship him hardest at the height of the summer season, which is the grain harvest. As one of the Vanir gods, he rules over "the rains, and the shining of the sun, and therewithal the fruit of the Earth." -
#FullMoonArt for the Scorpio moon:
This was the most complex crochet pattern I've attempted. It was a lot of fun working out the stitches and watching the textures develop (RIP, my wrist). I normally use my doilies to put under altar statues or candles, but this one is too pretty, I don't want to cover it up!

#FullMoonArt this month is a quirky little springtime sleeveless cardigan that I designed myself. The white accent yarn is glow in the dark!

#FullMoonArt for this month is a cross stitch of my favorite tarot card, the Hermit.
Credit goes to the Pixel Tarot deck, by SENGIA, for the design. I added a few touches, like Pamela Coleman-Smith’s signature sigil, to make it look more like the original card.

#FullMoonArt this month is a crochet rug I designed myself as a visual aid for the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.
I've been using my own druidic version of the LBRP for years as a basic ritual action that gets me in the mindset to do anything magick. I had been using just a generic circular rug, which has always helped me sorta lay out where my circle is, and I wanted something tailored to my own practice.
(The elemental symbols are oriented toward the center, more details in the alt text)

For my #FullMoonArt this month, I worked on my long-term temperature tapestry project for the 5th year in a row.
Using Farenheit: Purple is 20s, navy is 30s; 40s and 50s are dark/light blue, 60s are green, 70s yellow, 80s orange, etc. -
Trying to get back to my Full Moon Art project after a hiatus. This moon, I made a tea towel for my morning tea ritual.
This was the most complicated pattern I've ever designed. The model was the very special maple tree in my front yard that we lovingly call 'The Great Grandaddy Tree.'
To make it, I used this tutorial on designing trees, written by a literal mathematician: https://knitty.com/ISSUEfall05/FEATdesigningtrees.html

This month's #FullMoonArt is another cardigan. I've been calling this one my 'hobbit sweater' because it looks like something a Baggins would wear.
(Bonus cat pic cuz she would not get out of the way, lol)
Yarn is Lion Brand Mandala: Centaur

This #FullMoonArt project took me the full four weeks, cuz I wanted a big, oversized cardigan. I softened it up with a few washes and now I have the perfect cozy winter sweater. I guess this is my own pattern, I was just winging it based on some other sweater patterns I’ve done, and I designed the moon motif myself.

I have done 13 #FullMoonArt projects- a whole lunar year! It has been rewarding to look back on all my work, and spiritually fulfilling, because it ensures that I'm taking the time to do art regularly.
I welcome others to use this hashtag with me, show me your art! Here's the guidelines I gave myself for this project:
1. The art is started anytime after the New Moon, and completed within the 3 days of the Full Moon. It can be a large piece or a single-day project.
2. Post a photo and tag it with the hashtag (make sure to CamelCase).
3. Include alt text.
4. Credit the pattern-maker, if applicable, preferably with a link. -

#FullMoonArt for this lovely Gemini moon. This is a devotional piece for Freya, a lace doily to put under her statue on my altar as I decorate for the Solstice. The younger futhark runes spell “gjöf viđ gjöf” - a gift for a gift, which appears in verse 42 of the Havamál.
One of Freya's popular epithets is Gefn, the giver. She is also a gift herself- part of an exchange between the Æsir and the Vanir gods, so I chose the words to reflect her during the giving season of Yule.(Tip: red crochet thread will bleed into the white when you block it, whoops! I ended up with a pretty ombre effect, so I'm fine with it.)

I totally forgot to post my #FullMoonArt project from this past weekend, ope!
I made this crochet bag to use for handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. I admit that I give extra candy to anyone dressed as a witch :blobwitch:#FiberArt #Halloween

A photo taken during #Hiking in the #Forest during the last #FullMoon night. And no, the lights are lights and no fire. 🤣

This month for my #FullMoonArt I've crocheted a tarot mat specifically for celtic cross readings. The different colored squares help to make connections between cards in these large readings. For example, the white ones are all future-based. I got this idea from @caribouslim, who made a cool tarot generator:
https://pagan.plus/@caribouslim/111039327994613729The colors of the cards made the core of the readings really clear for me, and I knew I wanted a physical one that I could place the cards on. I used whatever scrap yarns I had that worked together and added the black lines to mimic the craftsman-pop-art style of the RWS deck.

#FullMoonArt this month is another addition to the astrology shelf I'm putting together. I've been adding little trinkets that represent various placements in my chart. This cross-stitch is for my Scorpio rising.

It took me the whole moon to finish this beaded lace crochet runner. I'm going to put it on the bookshelf which holds all of my astrology books.

This week I made a Cheshire cat bed for my kitties out of a seat cushion and repurposed yarn from an old ugly sweater.

My personal practice on the Full Moon is using that full energy to feed my mind, body, and spirit. I've done this for the past few years, and I adjust it according to the day/season, but the best part is that I feel filled, alive, like topping off for the next month.
For the mind, I try to learn something about my gods, I might read a research paper or memorize an epithet.
For the body, I will go for a walk outside, weather permitting, or make a nice meal.
For the spirit, I do art. Either a small, one day project, or I finish up a larger project. Check out my hashtag #FullMoonArt to see them.

When I saw this enchanting ombre yarn, I knew I wanted to do something in a spiral for this Scorpio Full Moon.
This is a large altar cloth for my main altar. I like the idea of spinning it a little every month so that the current season is facing forward. -
For this month's #FullMoonArt, I crocheted a little pouch for my tarot deck.
#Tarot #FiberArt -
This is an older filet crochet piece that I did years ago. It was worn and stained, so today I freshened it up with a border and dyed it gold using turmeric.
I think it will make a good addition to the altar for the upcoming solar holidays. -
For my Full Moon art this lovely Leo Moon, I've finished the most recent panel on my temperature blanket, which is an ongoing project that will span a decade.
It's seasonal, so it goes from Samhain to Samhain, the years are stitched sitting on the row for January 1st, each row represents the day's high temperature in my little part of the forest.

For my #FullMoonArt this month, I crocheted a falcon wing to decorate my Frigg altar.
I often worship her during this time of year. Perhaps because the coldest months are when I do most of my fiber art, when Frigg's distaff (Orion's belt) can be seen in the southern night sky.

Today I made this little crochet bauble ornament for my #FullMoonArt
I think "Yule friđ" is a cute #NorsePagan alternative for "Noel"
