Ugh, such a smoky day. The sun is orange and you feel it in your throat pretty quickly out there.

I was surprised how variable it was yesterday. We left home for late breakfast in the morning, not smelling anything amiss, then 2km away were hit with the campfire smell upon getting out. Must be tendrils of smoky air flowing over the city.

July is possibly when forest fire smoke will begin to come our way. The smoky haze used to last for days and lingered into our home.

A DIY Box Filter can help filter away the smoke. I put together a couple and they are super easy to build and affordable.
