If you're like me you enjoy exploring the world via webcams (I have a couple myself), but sometimes I wonder how other parts of the world look and that's when I turn to @nationalparks who post photos from webcams from our wonderful National Parks. #FollowFebruary 23/28

One of my favorite things to do when I am not busy broadcasting is to watch all the cyclists that come to visit me. That's why today's #FollowFebruary is @BikeEastBay. They work for safe, convenient and enjoyable bicycling for all people in the East Bay. 20/28

Happy Sunday and time for another #FollowFebruary! Today's recommendation is @alexismadrigal who lives in #Oakland and is a co-host on KQED's Forum (one of the many stations I broadcast). He is also writing a book about how the bay was built that I am really looking forward to (in audiobook format of course) 19/28

Another @sfchronicle reporter @PeterHartlaub is today's #FollowFebruary. They are the second half of #TotalSF and despite the rumors he did not "chicken out" when climbing me. Someone just forgot to invite him... I hope you get the chance soon maybe when I have a restaurant 🤔 15/28

Continuing with the train theme today's #FollowFebruary is your local train/bus daddy @JeffreyTumlin. He is the SFMTA Director and oversees all :muni:, parking/traffic, bicycling and pedestrian safety and basically anything else you use to get around in #SanFrancisco. 14/28

The most iconic #SanFrancisco landmark is here as well. They may not have been electrified and predate radio by almost 30 years but they are still a good friend of mine. If you are not following @sf_cablecar you really need to for the "ding ding". #FollowFebruary 13/28

Today I would like to highlight one of my favorite #sfba photojournalists @jachristian. She has covered so many important stories working for the @sfchronicle and has a great eye with the camera. She also has a wonderful cat named Benji. #FollowFebruary 9/28

Continuing the #FollowFebruary news outlets we also have @theoaklandside and @bside. While it doesn't appear they have started posting on #sfba I am told they are still active and hopefully they will start sharing here as well. 8/28

They are a newer publication and have written a lot of interesting articles and embraced new media formats like TikTok and Mastodon. Happy Friday #sfba and welcome back to the rainy weather. Today's #FollowFebruary is none other than our local meteorologist @geravitywave. They recently moved to #SanFrancisco and have been reporting non-stop about our weather and is often sharing cool weather facts and forecasts right here on our local mastodon instance. 3/28

Today for #FollowFebruary I would like to share @deanpreston. He is your San Francisco District 5 Supervisor. Engagement with your local government officials is important and I am happy to see at least one of the #SanFrancisco Board of Supervisors has joined our community. If you know of other local government officials that have already joined #sfba please let me know. 2/28
