Whew...all moved in, tired as hell.
Security system currently being installed, almost the last of the move-in business. I still have to get TV taken care of but that will come.
Got 10 boxes emptied which I think will be my limit for day. I've stashed some non-vital stuff in the basement (Christmas decor, mom's turkey roaster, my canning boiler, etc.) and the bed and bathroom are in good shape.
Tomorrow will be a binge of food shoppping (I have very little in the house!) and some more unpacking....

Good morning Mastodonians! It's Friday, I finally have movers in place (two weeks!), and the boss is out so yay. Getting some supplies for the new place this afternoon...I guess it's time to start stocking up on canned food, frozen veggies, and such. Milk and eggs can wait. It'll be nice to have my first meal in the new place, sitting at my table and trying to ignore all the boxes heaped all over the place....

Good morning Mastodonians!
Today's the big day! I've signed multiple documents already, made my down payment, and later this morning I'll sign the last documents and then I'll be a homeowner!
I never thought this would happen, to be honest, but here I am.
Of course, after this come the hassles of making the last few repairs, buying furniture, moving, etc., but that will pass.
It's been a hell of a ride!

Well I have water intrusions in my basement after 10+ inches of rain. On the upside, I guess I have a new water fountain for my dog Bean in the basement floor?
