La période d'incubation de l'hantavirus est assez longue (de deux à huit semaines), ce qui veut dire que vous ne pouvez jamais savoir si vous êtes en présence de personnes contaminées ou non (valables aussi pour le covid 19 où la moitié des gens contaminé sont asymptomatiques mais tout le monde s'en fout LOL 🙃).

Donc encore une fois, la seule mesure efficace pour se protéger reste la PRÉVENTION.

Je vois tout le monde dans mon entourage paniquer vis-à-vis de l'hantavirus, donc je profite de ce moment d'attention médiatique pour partager les trois seules mesures de prévention efficaces contre les virus respiratoires :
- porter un masque FFP2 dans les foules et les lieux fermés (un masque chirurgical ne suffira pas) et le changer régulièrement (toutes les quatre heures environ).
- aérer dix minutes toutes les heures, voir utiliser des purificateurs d'air si c'est possible pour vous.
- la vaccination ! (Quand elle est disponible)

Je vous conseille également de jeter un œil aux ressources de l'@arra qui sont bien plus calé-es que moi.

I am tired today. The woman had to have an ambulance out last night, so I was in full paramedicat mode. After working hard for 7 hours, handing over to the human paramedics, supervising the taking of observations, supporting relocations and giving healing purrs, I was exhausted. The human paramedics were impressed with me and asked if I wanted to ride along or be a mascot for the NWAS, but I decided not to as there is so much work here for me to do. #Paramedicat #CatsOfMastodon #cat #FediMed
