My longer term plan is to progress as far as I can with #FarCry3, wishfully the end, and switch to a relatively modern title, #FarCry5, something that I never experienced before. The former not only helps me relive some of those moments from 2012/2013, but also re-calibrate my expectations with an older title from #Ubisoft, and also appreciate the improvements in Far Cry 5, especially after failing to latch onto modern titles like #Cyberpunk2077 more than once.

Being able to play #FarCry3 on the #SteamDeck just adds to the intuitiveness, minus the Ubisoft launcher that needs a password to be entered on every launch.

No need to micro-manage your inventory in #FarCry3, at least to the extent as your modern open-world title, and even actions like crafting are plain, simple, and accessible from anywhere within the map.

While my younger self back in 2013 was overwhelmed by #FarCry3 game mechanics, after "tasting" several new titles over the last decade and more, Far Cry 3 feels quite like a comfort game.

I recently picked up #FarCry3 on #SteamSummerSale and trying it again after thirteen years (and this time via fair means) has been such a delight so far!
