I am still amazed at how well the Steam Deck works for me. The combination with #gfn really does the trick. There are just a few games I can't really play on it. Maybe the upcoming Steam Machine will do the trick?
Using the built in arch Linux as a daily driver doesn't yet work for me. I am not too familiar with Linux yet and maybe this is the reason.
One Steam machine that does it all, that would be awesome and I would sell my Apple stuff then. Maybe ... -

My current IT corner with my old Mac Mini, my Steam Deck now connected to my 4k monitor and my Linux Laptop.
I have a keyboard for the Steam Deck. The Laptop still needs to be connected to the monitor. For that I need another keyboard and mouse.
But everything works, and I can play #geforcenow #gfn games in 4k with HDR via Steam Deck. The old Mac Mini does not support HDR. Can you believe it? Poor #apple. Not a gaming company at all. -

For me, gaming is about to change a little. The main platform changes. Years ago, I mostly played games on consoles like the Xbox or PlayStation and Switch.
With the Steam Deck and mainly because of #nvidia #geforcenow #gfn, this changed. Both platforms are my main gaming platforms now because of the easy accessibility. Plus, I do not have to pay extra for multiplayer. Which I occasionally use.
I pay for the game, and I can either play the game natively on Steam Deck directly or via GFN. There are PC games I can not play this way. But this has gotten really rare.
For example, I can play Call of Duty via GFN. And the Battlefield games, too.
The cost for a high-end PC on GFN is about 220 euros/year. This is very much okay considering this price with real hardware. And there are hardware upgrades included. Soon, my virtual PC switches from an RTX 4080 to a 5080.
I am very happy with what I can do with this combination.
And: it is #linux gaming at its best :-) ... -

Breaking news from #PrimeGrid: the first GFN-21, a Generalised Fermat Prime (of the form b^2^n+1) with n=21, has been found, and it's over 13 million digits long!!
More details, including the exact number, will be confirmed soon (EDIT: 2524190^2^21+1), but it'll be the 6th largest known prime, the largest prime found by PrimeGrid, and the new largest known non-Mersenne prime!
