#Fedipaint entry across the line! Despite being last minute dash, I loved #painting these up in a #Blanchitsu style. Completely committed to making myself paint in a totally different way to. Goal will be to get the rest of the warband finished and in this style, and to get their display base/some new terrain to match.

Thank you as always to @Berit for this wee distraction - it was very appreciated in the last month and a half.

The Undead. These napped fellows were piloted by Ms Drumlinhat when she cordially agreed to a couple of games. They delivered a sound trashing to some Witchhunters as befits the sentiments of both themselves and my marvellous otherhalf.

My worst preforming, favourite idiots. Da Boyz Wot Ate Clever Git. Clever Git was a Goblin Shaman who lead an army of Orcs and Goblins to the most Orc and Goblin-y draw ever. ‘Ed da Boss obviously became one with Clever Gitz uselessness as he never won a game, and eventually got killed in the pits after knocking himself unconscious. Luckily the inconspicuously named ‘Ed Banga was there to step up.. they never did find out how ‘Ed got dragged to those pits.

@pidgeon_pete this FediPaint, Erik’s #FacesOfMordheim, and the 25th Anniversary bearing down have me my Mordheim lobe firing on all cylinders - very much enjoying where this will land. Left wee slots for the bases to sit in, but not so much that it’ll take away from it - so I’ll be able to use it as a terrain piece as well. That’s the plan anyway 😂

Continuing to plug away at the tester model this evening. I am really enjoying painting in this style… unlocking a dangerous door in my mind…

Box open. Lots of looking at metal. Got one loose Cult of the Possessed Cultist, started hitting it with #paint. I mean hitting it. Using my brushes in a way I’ve never used them before, looks like I’m having a moment - and I’m quite sure I am.

Base down (red-yellow-flesh-leather-wash), and a “layer” on the robes - genuinely just jabbed the paint on for the layer. Having a lot of fun. 😅

With his grasp on this Saxon tongue better in his head than my own @erikcats coined himself a banger of a hashtag #FacesOfMordheim. Given the city of the damned is 25 years old this year - it’d seem a shame not to pile in on this!

As a timely project I’m going to dust off my #SistersOfSigmar and get them painted. The Anniversary is October-ish I think? If i make good progress - maybe I’ll dig out the witch hunters and see if I could update them.
