#Rhythmbox 3.4.8 ist vorinstalliert. Das reagiert aber sehr zäh. Nach einem Stop spielt es noch sekundenlang weiter. Das installierte Gnome Software findet #exaile aber nicht #strawberry Im Terminal kann man aber strawberry 1.2.10 installieren.
Für einige #AppImage muss man #libfuse2t64 nachinstallieren.
Bei den meisten anderen mint tools wie #mintbackup #mintupdate oder #mintsystem scheitert die Vorgehensweise, weil #policykit-1 nicht installierbar ist. Offenbar wurde das durch polkit ersetzt.

I have this odd issue with my laptop where whenever I play music using "traditional" apps like #Lollypop, #Pragha, #StrawberryPlayer, #Rythmbox, #QuodLibet or #Exaile, it pauses at random times for a few seconds, like if the music is buffering or something.

Interestingly, it doesn't happen with #mpd, #Monophony or through #Firefox. And it has happened with every distro I used with this laptop (#Fedora, #Debian, #EndeavourOS).

I suspect is related to #pipewire-pulse, but I'm not sure.

About a decade ago there was a plethora of music players for #GNU / #Linux. Now in 2022 it is hard to find a stable, oldschool music player like back in the days. Fortunately there is still #Exaile and #Audacious. But I miss #Banshee and #Amarok...
