MEPs fordern Neuverhandlung des EU-US-Datentransferabkommens aufgrund von Grundrechtsbedenken. Eine nicht-bindende Resolution fordert die EU-Kommission auf, die Datenschutzvereinbarung für transatlantische Datenflüsse nicht zu unterstützen, bis die Bedenken vollständig geklärt sind.
Es wird mit breiter Unterstützung d Resolution im Ausschuss für bürgerliche Freiheiten gerechnet.
