  1. My first real success with my ERCFv2! This took 7.5 hours to print due to numerous interventions required to rescue it from tangled filament, misfeeds, clogs and that was after 2 previous attempts failed. Started the first attempt at 7:30am and this finished around 9:30pm

  2. Today I am getting adventurous with the ERCFv2 going for more than my previous record of 2 colours in the same print.

  3. Behold! My first completely unattended successful 2 colour 3D print from my ERCFv2 MMU on my Voron Trident printer. It has taken 15 months from starting to build the MMU to reach this point.

  4. It has taken over a year, but I finally completed a whole print in multicolour on my ERCF filament changer. A few colour changed failed along the way, but no print killing errors!

  5. Turns out these tiny orange parts seen in the pictures were a significant part of the problem. They fitted too tightly in the filament path blocks which should move freely relative to the traps. So I enlarged the holes in the filament path blocks with a small file and now finally my filament blocks all close cleanly without needing a lot of pressure on the top hats. Time to reassemble everything.

  6. One step forwards, several steps back.

  7. Filament has been moved under ERCF v2 motorised control! This is a major milestone as the filament feeding mechanism is proving very difficult to get working. Gate 0 is now operational. Not so much luck with gates 1-7 yet, but it is progress.

  8. I think this monster is finally hardware complete. Software install next. Then configuration.

  9. Progress with my custom Trident hot-end build. Piezo Revo cold side mounted and filament cutter mod fully assembled.

  10. Making sense of the combination of an EBB tool head board Stealthburner hot end combined with the filametrix filament cutter and filament loading sensors mods for the ERCFv2. Things are slowly coming together.
