We once wrote to RT and asked them why they even used Google/AmazonSoundCloud.A lot of the important videos they did selfHost but they placed greater importance on #HDVideo than on being resiliant.
Its going to take time to update their site with low bandwidth versions but it was always going to happen.
They will setup onionsites and #eppsite too, so this is looking all very positive in the long term.
Buggar the #legacyInternet.

Earlier this year #policymakers handed #Facebook an open ticket to #bribe the #RupertMurdoch's, #SevenNetwork's and #legacyMedia.
If you're a small-time #grassroots, #journalist who purposefully rejects #Fakebook you will never get that #bribeMoney from them.
Likewise if you're a #neighbourhoodWatch group who wants to print a bunch of items with links to an #eppsite, you can't run to Fakebook (or even govt for that matter) to collect your #independentJournalism handout.

So the #BoM (Bureau Of Meteorology) an #Australian govt site, is now limiting access to people viewing multiple pages (over #Tor?) with #cookies.
