U.S. Gov's FAA is proposing to amend space launch licensing regulations to "reduce regulatory burden" for space operators.
The proposed rule would waive requirements from 13 federal laws for certain commercial space licenses including: National Environmental Policy Act, the Endangered Species Act, parts of the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the National Historic Preservation Act, the Marine Mammal Protection Act and several other and natural resource laws.
