  3. Sadly this appears to only be on the bird site, but it is really important. Emotional recognition is based on really bad science and the most shallow understanding imaginable of the nature of emotions. It is a case study of why some things are not engineering problems. That a government agency is prepared to say this and threaten to fine orgs which (mis)use it is huge news.
