Since a week or 2, I think, we have #Wahoo #Bolt v2 and #Elemnt live tracking issues. We all have Android mobiles. The apps are allowed run in the background. Before a ride we connect the app with the device, switched off wifi and enabled data,location and bluetooth. Strange and annoying behavior. Already reset all share links. I think I try to fill a service request with #wahoo

My Wahoo Elemnt Bolt (first gen) bike computer recently died, by which I mean its power button stopped working. I contacted support to see if they had any advice; they didn't, but gave me a pretty significant discount code for a replacement. I took advantage of this and got a new Elemnt Roam, which seems to be working pretty well.

One thing I am appreciating is that, whilst imperfect, the GoPro stuff on my own project seems to be far more reliable than on the bike computer. I mean, it's a bit annoying, but I get to feel smug about not having to rely on it, and my stuff being better.

Do any #cycling people know how to get a #Wahoo #Elemnt #Bolt2 to skip a missed waypoint during navigation or back on track?

Thanks for the boosts. I've had a reply from Wahoo support:

"the reroute feature is designed to take you back to the point where you left the route, [...] there is not currently a way to skip a waypoint as you described it."

They'll add a feature request for waypoint skipping.

If you’ve been wondering how #Apple #iOS18 beta is doing, I didn’t notice any serious issues. My go-to apps are working just fine.

There are some things throwing me off, because muscle memory - keyboard is slightly changed, editing videos in #Photos, but nothing I can’t live with…🤷🏻‍♂️🥰

I use #komoot and sync it directly to my #wahoo #elemnt too. And I nearly always have to tweak the result because komoot creates the shortest routes. I too asked for the poi :-/ but with no joy 😞 .

Also I only tried routing for a very short time but I don't think I actually heard it beep for like turns. It's not very loud.
