a third brother passed away in hospice on the day of the earthquake

feeling unusually aware of the veil, star dust, forces of nature, and the #superSargassoSea h/t edibles & ativan & phillys best wheel man

  2. I got to see a partial eclipse today. About 80%. Damn.. I wish I had traveled somewhere to enjoy full totality. It was 100% clear today too!

The first eclipse I got to experience was in 2017. Unfortunately for us in Charleston, we got rained out by a rogue gullywasher!

This is what I was able to capture in 2017 with my Nikon 3400 and a 300mm lens.

I plan on going to Iceland in 2026 fully prepared for the next one!

Crazy lady office for the win.
(Now to find a purpose for the drawer of salt/pepper packets and expired antihistamines.)

  4. If you can get to the eclipse tomorrow, don’t miss it. My pics from the 2017 eclipse in Oregon don’t do it justice, but I hope they’ll give you an idea of what an incredible experience eclipses are. photos.chamilton.me/Travel/201 #Eclipse #Eclipse2017 #Oregon #SalemOregon

  5. I lived thru 30+ seconds of totality in SC on a totes secluded fire road on the edge of a State Park. Because of science a small thunder cell formed and followed the shadow of totality. It not only got darker colder we could hear and feel thunder wind lightning coming then going. It was profound. It lasted hours. Being in the woods was awesome except for poor gal in minidress who got chiggers #eclipse2024 #eclipse2017 #TotalSolarEclipse #BucketList #eclipse #SolarEclipse

  6. I was at the total eclipse in 2017 in Wyoming, USA and it was an amazing experience.

  7. When we began planning #Eclipse2017 activities in Glendo, Wyoming, in 2002, I thought we were getting way ahead of ourselves. (Turns out not: we pulled off a great event!)

Looks like others are taking a cue from out experience and starting WAY early. 😅

  8. Thinking back to this morning six years ago when the shadow of the Moon swept across North America during #Eclipse2017. We watched it from Glendo, Wyoming, a town with a permanent population of 200 inhabitants that saw 185,000 visitors on eclipse day. Morning clouds parted before the partial phases began, and the view of totality was glorious.

Looking forward to doing it all over again 231 days from now, in Texas, during #Eclipse2024
