I just found the perfect bath book, it is barely wider than my flattened hand when closed, hardcover of course...
They rarely make books like this anymore, it even has a bound in cloth bookmark, and an embossed cover that is wonderful for 'doodling' on with the free hand as I read...
And the writing is so engaging, descriptive, another place & time...

I’m re-reading Gerald Durrell’s classic My Family and Other Animals and loving it. His books (and The Amateur Naturalist also a TV show) were among my first reads as a child and shaped my still lasting passion towards natural history.
I sometimes wonder whether I should have pursued this as a career instead of computers…
