#Dorna, la società che gestisce anche il campionato #MotoGP, e #FIM hanno comunicato che la prossima stagione non vedrà scendere in pista le moto elettriche: “La #MotoE non è riuscita a ottenere un successo sufficiente tra i nostri appassionati durante le sue sette stagioni. E il mercato delle moto elettriche ad alte prestazioni non si è sviluppato come previsto”.

It's a big deal getting someone in from outside to such a senior position inside Dorna. Let alone a non-Spaniard (or even non-Catalan).
The digital side of things is where Dorna has been weakest. Former CCO was forever clamping down on social media content and was no fan of the internet. Hopefully the new guy will be better.
