A few weekends ago, we attended the #DevonCountyShow, which is an annual event held on the outskirts of the city and an easy 7 km #Bike ride from home. Having said that, I hadn’t been to one before. It was a hot, sunny spring day which meant that most people seemed to be enjoying themselves. The focus of the show is rural and agricultural practices and machinery but there are also displays from general outdoor display teams.

So much for there being a #CostOf LivingCrisis !
It costs an arm and a leg to get it there, not to have to mention sitting in traffic jams for hours to get in and then to get out again.
Clearly some are not as badly off as they make out.

Next week sees the annual Devon County Show at Westpoint, near Exeter (Thu 18th May - Sat 20th May).
Roads will be even more chock-a-block than normal, and the usual mudbath will likely ensue onsite.
Remember the images of mud on the roads at Newton Poppleford just this past week after severe storms.
The final day had to be cancelled a few years ago due to mud in the car parking area.
