This may be partial blasphemy to the retro gaming community, but I genuinely prefer Deus Ex: Human Revolution over the original Deus Ex.
Don't get me wrong, the original is great and an absolute classic, but HR has such an awesome sense of atmosphere (yes, even with the "urine filter"), a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack and overall rock solid gameplay.

@yurisizov agreed! Same with #deusex - demo was the 1st level on Staten Island, no limits no nothing. I must have played that a hundred times with all different kind of approaches and it was always a blast! 😀

I have a revisit of DX2 on my list of stuff to potentially stream. I think it'd be fun to give it another go now that some time has passed. I remember having a lot of issues with it, including how much simpler they made it, going at it from a console-first design process. I was incredibly bitter about that at the time, unsurprisingly.
