Been a month since I bought the #SplatoonRaiders shoulder pouch. It's pretty bad at being a good bag lol
It's heavy and chunky, too long and rigid that you can't really wear it sideways. Even if you can, the "plastic connector" (I've no idea what that's called) lands right on your shoulder and it feels horrible. Wearing it in front or back will make you sweat (under average HK weather) as the skin is too thick.

News / Splatoon Raiders: Bottomless Buffet might not be so "Bottomless"
The Japanese player shingetsu0210 has today reached floor 1000 in the Bottomless Buffet in #SplatoonRaiders and it's not so bottomless. After floor 1000, you get a check mark indicating you've completed it and you won't get any levels for further down. You don't seem to get any extras for completing it, but to be fair it does seem to be an absolute grind!
(From the screenshots, is there also a level cap of 50+999? Makes sense I guess.)

News / Collaborations: Pick up Raiders merch at 7-Eleven stores in Japan
Nintendo has announced a collaboration with 7-Eleven stores in Japan which will enable people to collect #SplatoonRaiders merch. There are several different types of merch being offered.
If you buy two eligible snacks, you'll receive a sticker from a set of 4, designed around the mechanic and each member of Big Cut. This'll start up on August 20th at 10am JST to September 2nd.
If you make a purchase of 800¥ or more (tax included) at once between August 21st to 31st, a serial number will be printed on your receipt. You can enter these serial numbers online to enter for a chance to win Splatoon Raiders merch and other prizes. They must be used by September 2nd. The items you can win seems to include a blanket and cushion set (100 winners), a cup (300 winners) and a free voucher for items at an in store café (1000 winners).
Additionally it seems like if you purchase a download code for Raiders at 7-Eleven, 200 winners will be selected to receive special Splatoon Raiders headphones.
Finally, you'll get a free wallpaper if you use GPS check in with the Nintendo Store app when inside a 7-Eleven store.

News / Weapons: Splatoon 3 is getting a new weapon
We've received information that an update will release soon for Splatoon 3 to add in a Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica from #SplatoonRaiders. It'll share the same kit as the Tentatek Splattershot with Splat Bomb and Triple Inkstrike. You'll need to have completed the main story in Raiders to be able to get this kit and you'll be able to access it from the lobby terminal when you have.

News / Nintendo Switch 2: Reminder about price increases
In case you forgot, Nintendo is increasing the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 from the 1st of September (so 19 days from now) from US$450 to US$500 / €470 to €500. If you're looking to pick a new Switch 2 console to play #SplatoonRaiders, you might want to get it now before the price increase.
Nintendo has seemingly begun to warn people in stores of the price increase over in the US (see https://www.notebookcheck.net/Nintendo-warns-about-Switch-2-price-increase-on-console-kiosks-contrasting-PS5-approach.1366900.0.html), which is refreshingly transparent and thankfully people have had a lot of time to consider buying one. Whilst Nintendo's response isn't perfect (we still don't have price increase figures here in the UK but I'm pretty confident it will be £430), it's much better than the other brands right now.

Community / Polls: What difficulty do you play Splatoon Raiders at?
May as well start trying to run a few more polls again. If you play #SplatoonRaiders, what difficulty do you play it at? I'm unlikely to pick up the game soon personally but I think it would be fun for me to play Survivalist (it looks like Tourist is too easy from what I've seen, it looks like it might be ¼ of the damage as Raider to me from YouTube videos).
