Playing with #UbuntuTouch: while having a native #Linux terminal is great, I noticed several relevant lacks. Apart many users with #GPS issues, a native mail client is missing: #Dekko2, the “most suggested” one, appears to be discontinued, while both it and the main OS (!!) do not support #OAuth2. So the best option is to stick with #webapps, or to use #Waydroid, an internal #Android emulator, with limits (such as the impossibility to share #notifications with the main os). What am I missing?

I vaguely remembering going to install that on #UbuntuTouch years ago, and not liking that it said that installing it gave the app to everything on my system.
Maybe (almost) all apps on #UBports do this, but this and the fact that it seemed to have not been updated in ages put me off trying at the time.
That was a long time ago though.

UBports is sorry to announce that the Dekko2 Hackathon planned for this weekend has had to be cancelled at short notice. This is due to the unexpected unavailability of two of the developers. We will try to reschedule in the near future.

Only a week to go until the Dekko2 Hackathon takes place in Ulm, Germany, and you still have time to attend.
