Former #deacon Adrei #Kuraev emigrated from #Russia. Kuraev was a lecturer, writer, advocate for #Cyril to become #patriarch. After Cyril got elected, Kuraev got more interested in #whistleblowing what eventually got him laicised. He also spoke against #Russian war in #Ukraine.
