What a show!! #GillianWelch & #DaveRawlings are out on the “Acoustic Reckoning” tour playing acoustic #GratefulDead as only they can. The show was amazing and I HIGHLY recommend you check it out if they come through your town.
Paul Kowert from Punch Brothers was phenomenal on bass.

sorry for the spotify link (still trying to persuade my family we need to switch to apple tbh) but…
track 4 on the new #gillianwelch and #daverawlings album is insanely great. repetitive harmonic picking gives this ambient vibes, a la droning acoustic raga jams you probably already love, like elkhorn, etc. but i noticed listening more closely this morning that dave is mimicking bird songs with his guitar during some of the verses, especially 1-2 minutes. absurdly good!
