For a year or so, I switched to the Samsung Gear 3 & then for a hot minute the Starfield Chronomark - pictured below - then switched back.

I've concluded that I need the following in a watch:
✅ Lightweight body
✅ Minimal charging
✅ Nothing plasticy
✅ Date/time/alarm
✅ Hourly chime

That last one, 'Hourly Chime' , isn't available much any more but it is on my Datalink & I need it because I lose track of time.

Here's my daily watch - a classic Microsoft Timex Datalink 150. I think it's still beautiful in it's own way & very vintage (28yrs old) but despite being uncommon & from 1996, it's not one-of-a-kind like the GOLD #Microsoft executive version likely is.

In fact, my bet is that my previously mentioned GOLD #Datalink 150 is the only one still in existence.

Now you know why I flipped out when they took my stupid offer of $150. 😁

If you're an old Microsoft technophile, you may remember the "Microsoft Timex #Datalink 150", a watch that synched with Outlook 97 contacts, appts, etc.

I adored this watch & have worn it for decades.

Then one day, the EXECUTIVE edition showed up on eBay.

The story goes that this 'gold' edition was only given to #Microsoft's top execs back in 1996. It was in flawless condition so I made a dumb offer: $150.

OMG THE SELLER TOOK MY OFFER.

Now I just STARE at it. I'm frightened to wear it. 😜
