When a widely renowned Monterey County business, Light & Motion, ceased operations this year after 35 years, we became eager to know of other reliable lights for cycling.
That’s why we checked out the new KOM Cycling Quick Release 1000 lumen light. We do a lot of night riding, including on dark rural roads, and we appreciate this degree of brightness! It's also available as a 350 lumen light. Each has 6 operating modes—3 steady and 3 flashing, including an SOS light.
Concerned about bike light theft while parked? The light is very easy to detach and take with you.
Those of you using Garmin & Wahoo devices will appreciate that these lights come with the needed hardware to ensure compatibility with Garmin and Wahoo mounts and computers.

I photographed 6 different lights yesterday evening all with the same setting of the camera. I only show you one frame per light and its settings are neither the lowest nor the brightest of each respective light.
