Baked this in the correct order this time:
Melt 1 stick of butter in a pan at 350 F. Mix 1 Cup self-rising flour and 1 Cup sugar together in a bowl. Add 1 Cup of milk. Pour this batter over the melted butter. Add fruit on top.
I added cinnamon (Can't believe I forgot it last time!) added some Pure Vanilla, topped with sprinkles of Turbinado Cane Sugar.
Cook for 40 minutes.

Butter. Batter. Fruit.
What I made wasn't a cobbler or a stew, but it was still really good.
Spouse said to call it "Apple Yum Yum" when cooked the very wrong way I did it.

Cooked for 20 minutes.
The center had a soft crumble, the edges mostly syrupy butter.
So spouse thought it was just the extra stick of π§ butter (It's 1 stick, not a Cup. Oops.) until I described the wildly out of order steps above.
Correct order: Melt 1 stick of butter in a pan at 350 F. Mix 1 Cup flour and 1 Cup sugar together in a bowl. Add 1 Cup of milk. Pour this butter over the melted butter. Add fruit on top. 40 minutes.

Poured a cup of sugar over them.
Poured a cup of flour over that.
Sprinkled cinnamon over it.
Since the recipe calls for cups, I put 2 sticks of butter on it because that was a Cup. Obviously.
Cooked at 350 F for 40 minutes.
Pulled it out after 10 minutes and Poured the 1 cup of milk I forgot into it.
Put it back in. 10 minutes later used a spatula to mix it up some.

𧡠Note: Using imperial measurements instead of Metric.
Years ago, my spouse taught me a family recipe called "A Cup a Cup a Pie" .
I used π cherries, mostly π« blueberries. Most people use π peaches.
Had 4 π apples . One went bad, so I decided to use the rest on that recipe.
3 apples a Cup? Didn't know, but it was what I had.
Sliced them, put them in a pan (long time cooks are going to be aghast at what I did and do next).
