AI models capable of devastating attacks on governments and business months away, rare Five Eyes statement warns

Remarkable that it's called "Claude Fable" which easily reads as 'cloud fable' or in my opinion "pipe dreams" which summerizes the whole ai bubble.

Recently tried an ai agent (Lumo) to find a solution for a problem with an FTP server.... Long story short, it quickly came up with a few useful things, but very fast started blundering away, mixing up things and giving totally unusable nonsense "solutions"....

Well, this is interesting.

In my book I promote minimalism as one of the strategies to tackle overconsumption, but I strongly object to the concept of “lifestyle”.

In the Conversation article mentioned below we see that minimalism as a >>lifestyle<< is not very successful in tackling over-consumption.

Actually, that is the point, I promote to change your >>way of living<<, but NOT to adopt another "lifestyle" with all consequential consumption patterns.

Home Ecophagus by Warren M. Hern is a wide-ranging look at the major problems for the survival of not just the human species, but all other species on　 Earth due to human activities over the past tens of thousands years. The title of the book indicates Hern’s new name for the human species: "The man who devours the ecosystem." Over the course of its evolution, Hern observes, humans have evolved cultures and adaptations that have now become malignant and that the human species, at the global level, has all the major characteristics of a malignant neoplasm – converting all plant, animal, organic, and inorganic material into human biomass or its adaptive adjuncts and support systems. I must admit (as an anarchist) that this is pretty good. Remember that #CrashCourse is part of #PBS, the US public broadcaster. Therefore I'm worried about their future under the Trump-regime.

But yes I have some criticism and that's about their attempt to have some criticism. At the end they give some bad examples of anarchism, as part of the criticism that because of a lack of central control, everyone against the government can call themselves anarchist. Yes of course everyone can, but that doesn't mean that they are.

Let me explain. Anarchism is not only about anti-government or anti-state. Anarchism is about no authority, therefore no hierarchies and against authoritarianism. As a result anarchists are against every form of #oppression, including economic oppression like #capitalism, gender oppression like #sexism and the #patriarchy, #racism, #fascism, #LGBTIQIA-hate, oppression against #nature and #animals (#ecocide), and yes also against nation #states (and their oppressing tools like the #police, the #military and #nationalism) and of course their governments.

Some call this #intersectional, some call it total liberation/struggle. Our tools are mutual aid, direct action and #prefiguration.
