I’m daily driving #Linux - this felt like a great idea until things stopped working and I’m really really missing #iMessage directly on my laptop. #Fedora38 is surprisingly snappy even on a 7th gen i5 - it’s not gonna displace my #Steamdeck but #OctopathTraveler, #stardewvalley #unrealTournament #counterStrikeSource and #untitledGooseGame are all playable at 720p (#theWitcherEnhanced runs but isn’t what I’d call playable)

Just finished setting up my #raspberrypi to host things I’d like to access from anywhere with #cloudflare and #traefik. That brought back memories from back in the days when teenage me was hosting dedicated servers for #worldofwarcraft and #counterstrikesource on a slow ADSL connection and my ripped open desktop PC running a #pentium3. Surprisingly, it was mostly playable, and I had a lot of fun building communities around that. Things were simpler.
