Of course, all this will be solved in 2029. It could have been solved in 2026, but we didn't need two large rail enabled CookStrait / HW1 ferries according to our *Get us back on track austarity above all else* slasher mentality of our saviour government.
Agreed, this is not Kiwi Rail. They struggle on with two non rail enabled ferries.
