@NPR except…. And I hate to pull up NPR on this… while the referendum was overwhelming in its support of the ban, just 7.5% of all registered voters turned out to vote*. I know you mention turnout was "very low" but it really should include the percentage given how incredibly low it was.
In this story, that piece of context is essential.
*I know this because it’s the final news item in our @show TEN news roundup show this Saturday, and we’re in post production now.

No matter what the situation is, #Context is very important.
Be it interpreting a person's words… for example, if I say “Hello, Negros”, what is the context? (See: https://mothership.sg/2019/12/hello-sb19/ )
Or, creating a report like bug reports.
Without reporting and without context, no action can be taken, and/or there is a huge risk of making an incorrect decision.
